Privacy Policy

Short version: your training data never leaves your device. The only personal information we can ever receive is an email address you choose to give us, and we use it for exactly one thing — product update emails. Write to hello@cmdenter.app and it's deleted.

1. What this policy covers

This policy describes what information CmdEnter ("we," "us") handles when you use the trainer at this site, and what we do with it. It's short because we handle very little.

2. Training data — stored on your device only

All of your practice activity is stored in your browser's localStorage, on your device:

per-move learning state and recall statistics (accuracy, response times, last-practiced dates)
per-deck session history and graduation progress
daily-streak counters and the sound on/off preference

None of this is transmitted to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives it, no analytics that read it, and no way to see it. To delete it, clear this site's data in your browser settings — it is gone immediately and permanently.

3. Email signup — optional, single-purpose

If you submit your email address in the signup form, we use it only to send occasional product updates (for example, when a new deck ships). Specifically:

No requirement. Every feature of the trainer works without signing up.
Single purpose. The address is used for product-update emails and nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their marketing.
Processing. When the signup form is live, submissions are delivered to us via a form-processing provider acting on our behalf; that provider stores the address so we can send updates.
Deletion on request. Email hello@cmdenter.app from the address in question and we will delete it. Every update email will also include an unsubscribe path.

4. No accounts, no tracking

The Service has no user accounts, no advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, and no cookies set by us. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts; your browser requests those font files from Google's servers, which is subject to Google's privacy policy. Standard web-server access logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) may exist at our hosting provider as part of ordinarily operating a website.

5. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them — the only personal information we collect from anyone is an optional email address.

6. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information — for example, if we ever add accounts or server-side sync — we will update this policy and change the date above before the new handling begins.
