These terms govern your use of CmdEnter, a browser-based keyboard-fluency trainer available at https://www.cmdenter.app (the “Service”), operated by Astrolabe Apps, Inc. (“we,” “us”). By purchasing or using the Service you agree to these terms.
CmdEnter is a self-contained web application that drills keyboard shortcuts (“decks”) and times your recall. It runs in your browser and requires no account. Your training progress is stored locally in your browser and is not held on our servers.
CmdEnter is offered under the following plans:
A free tier (level 1 of every Base deck) is available without purchase so you can evaluate the Service before buying.
Subject to these terms and your payment, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service for your own use.
Because the Service uses no account, unlocked access is associated with the browser or device you activate it on. Retain your purchase receipt from Creem as proof of purchase; you may need it to restore access on another device. Contact us if you need help restoring access.
You agree not to: (a) copy, scrape, extract, republish, resell, or redistribute the shortcut data, decks, or other content of the Service; (b) share, resell, or transfer your license or access to others; (c) reverse engineer the Service except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law; or (d) use the Service in any unlawful way or in a way that disrupts it for others.
The Service, its interface, the drill engine, and the compiled and verified shortcut dataset are owned by Astrolabe Apps, Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. Names of third-party applications (such as Vim, Blender, Rhino, AutoCAD, Bloomberg, and others) and their shortcuts are the property of their respective owners; CmdEnter is an independent training tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
Each deck displays the date on which its shortcuts were verified. Software changes over time, and we do not warrant that every shortcut is current or error-free at the moment you use it. Certain browser-reserved key combinations cannot be drilled and are excluded by design. We may modify, add, re-verify, or remove decks and features, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service, at any time.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Creem, which may act as merchant of record for your purchase. By purchasing, you also agree to Creem’s applicable terms. All prices are in US dollars and exclusive of any taxes that Creem may be required to collect.
Subscription plans renew automatically each month at the then-current price until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the Creem customer portal (linked from your receipt). Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund amounts already charged. See our Refund Policy.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astrolabe Apps, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms from time to time. The “effective date” above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the Service.
